The 2016 Arts After Hours networking event celebrates the holidays with interactive paper ornament making demonstrations by Markham artist, Artrepreneur Alumni and social entrepreneur Elaine Joy Roach of Treasured Paper. Event attendees will have the opportunity to network with one another while creating ornaments that reflect their creative practice or cultural organization. The ornaments will be added to a York Region Arts Council tree, which is part of the greater "King Trees of Giving" event in aid of the King Township Food Bank.
Basic materials and tools for creating your ornament will be provided. If you would like to create something using specific materials or images that speak to your personal practice or organization, please bring these items with you.
