Drawing on Scratchboard

28 July 2018

Capture the character of your favorite furry or feathered friend in scratch-board or pen and ink. With scratchboard, you use a white board that's covered with black ink and use a small scratch tool or knife to etch into it, revealing the white. It's like drawing in reverse. In this one-day workshop with award-winning artist Ona Kingdon, learn techniques that will enable you to draw your dog, cat, rabbit, bird or a special teddy bear or one of their wild relatives in either pen and ink or scratch-board. A supply list will be provided prior to the class. Some scratchboard will be available for purchase. The seniors discount does not apply; the full fee is required.
