Ontario Arts Council Receives $5 Million Funding Increase

"In May, the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sport communicated that they would be increasing funding to the Ontario Arts Council by $5 million dollars, per year, over the next four years."

15 Artists Named Finalists in RBC Canadian Painting Competition

“From across Canada, 15 painters to watch have been selected for one of the nation’s most well-known art competitions.” The winners and finalists of the 2017 RBC Canadian Painting Competition will receive cash prizes and informal mentorship opportunities. Province seeks applicants for grant program to promote diversity, inclusion

“The provincial government is inviting non-profit community groups to apply for funding offered through a new grant program aimed at helping newcomers and multicultural communities ‘promote diversity and reduce barriers to inclusion’, according to a media release.” Read more here
