Arts Exposed Conference
Join us for our dynamic 2 day conference on October 4 & 5! This year’s theme is Creating, Marketing & Living the Experience!
Your connection to York Region Artists.
With 2014 well underway, we look forward to sharing developments on many of the projects we announced in January.
Here is a snapshot of where we are and what we have coming up:
Art Mentorship Project: A partnership with the McMichael Canadian Art Collection. Emerging artists within the first three years of independent practice are paired with an established, professional artist. The 2014 mentor is Bonnie Devine. Applications have closed for this session and the apprentice will be announced soon!
York Region Multicultural Festival: We are working diligently with a steering committee comprised of community leaders and consultant, Robert Kerr, to deliver consultation sessions and learn more about your needs and wishes as a festival/event organizer. If you wish to get involved in this process, please email firstname.lastname@example.org
Arts After Hours Networking Event: Thursday, May 8! Network with arts and culture industry professionals over yummy bites and wine at the award-winning Downtown Markham Presentation Centre. You also have the option to experience or participate in the reading of an original script by Shadowpath Theatre Production’s Alex Karolyi. This event is presented in partnership between YRAC, Downtown Markham and the Markham Arts Council. Stay tuned for tickets available soon!
Arts Cafe & Symposium Events: The next seminar is “Building & Measuring Social Strategy: The ROM’s Solution” on Thursday, April 3. Learn more by visiting the symposiums page on our website.
Please note that we have changed our general email accounts. For YorkScene inquiries, please contact email@example.com and for all other YRAC inquiries, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
