The Experience Trail is a series of virtual and live events and activities around York Region launched on ExperienceYorkRegion.com. From Cultural Campfires, art exhibitions, Culture Breaks, pop-up performances, and the Dance Together Festival York Region, The Experience Trail features a diversity of artistic mediums and stories. The Experience Trail also features the Experience Trail Markers, a collaborative and interactive art project designed to reconnect York Region through art.

OUR PARK: A Community Public Art Project
York Region Arts Council (YRAC) in collaboration with Markham Public Art is proud to announce the launch of the pilot granting program entitled “Our Park”: Community Art Project Grant.
“Our Park” grant aims to provide funding to Markham-based professional artists, arts organizations, artist collectives, and non-profit organizations to create and present free arts programming in selected parks located in Markham.
Local Pairings
Local Pairings creates partnerships with artists, venues, and event organizers of York Region to activate arts, promote local engagement in culture and tourism, and strengthen connectivity between municipalities. This program provides artist fees, rehearsal space, skill sharing opportunities, and networking events
